Hawkers solar eclipse observation glasses with approved certification. Designed for looking directly at the Sun with complete safety, they offer effective protection against harmful solar radiation and comply with the most demanding European regulations. In addition, they incorporate a fold-adjustment system that allows them to be comfortably adapted to each user, providing the necessary peripheral safety.

ISO 12312-2 Standard: Specific international certification for direct sun observation filters.

European Homologation (CE): EU type-examination carried out by CCQS Certification Services Ltd. (No. 2834), Dublin, Ireland, complying with the safety requirements for Personal Protective Equipment.

Origin: Fully manufactured in Spain, ensuring traceability and quality of materials.

Materials:

• FSC-certified European cardboard
• Industrial adhesives manufactured in Germany
• Certified optical solar filter film

Adaptable width: through the front fold marks, the frame offers two types of adjustment depending on how these folds are configured for a precise ergonomic adaptation to different facial widths, optimizing the peripheral seal.

Maintenance and Life Cycle:

• Cleaning: Exclusively with a soft, non-abrasive technical cloth.
• Storage: Dry environment to prevent degradation of the filtering polymers.
• Expiration: Technical useful life of 10 years from manufacture, after which they must be withdrawn from service.

To ensure constant optical density and prevent permanent eye damage, the user must adhere to the following technical guidelines:

• Prior Evaluation: Mandatory inspection of the lens surface. The product must be discarded in the event of any puncture, detachment, or structural compromise of the filter.
• Interface of Use: Firm fit to the facial contour prior to solar exposure. Mandatory use during all phases of solar eclipse visibility.
• Optical Restrictions: Prohibited for use in combination with optical instruments (telescopes, binoculars, or cameras), as the concentration of focused light would instantly damage the filter and the user's vision.
• Children: Solar observation by minors requires permanent adult supervision to ensure a hermetic seal of the visual field against direct radiation.
